Not only do the vast majority of Americans have little idea of the dangers of our current institutions and laws, much less the massive atrocities committed (historically) by the CIA, and currently by government contractors (often using Israeli surveillance and targeting technologies), but we have such a weak, divided, and compromised opposition party, crucial information is deliberately buried or fails to be sufficiently highlighted.

I truly don't believe the US is governable...even if there were shared values and facts (which is not the case, or independent legacy media (ditto), every institution has been rotting for decades.

Maybe the answer is to focus on local and state government, and build a movement from the bottom up.

I'm feeling particularly pessimistic today...hopefully, others do not share my outlook, or see daylight that I'm failing to notice.
