MAGA has radicalized my worldview

I have not posted here for months. In fact, since Trump was inaugurated for the second time, I have been mourning. I have been hoping that there were adults that would be stepping forward to put a stop to the parasitic kakistocracy we are now living in. It hasn’t happened. It is not going to happen. Unless we, the people who do not want power, step forward. Unless we say this is not happening while I still breathe.

I’ve been to war twice in my life. All I wanted afterwards was to be left alone to try and understand what I lived through, and to heal. Unfortunately, events dictate otherwise. I do not get to be left alone.

The current administration of the executive branch of the United States federal government is parasitic. It has subverted all of the checks and balances that were supposed to protect the rights of individual Americans (and all humans that are subject to U.S. jurisdiction.) The legislative branch is corrupt. The judicial branch is compromised by sniveling, self-interested…
